Kindled by Night

For just a few evenings each spring, the quiet forests of Great Smoky Mountains National Park awaken with one of nature's rarest spectacles. Around the weathered chimney of an abandoned mountain homestead, thousands of synchronous fireflies illuminate the darkness, transforming history into something almost magical. Kindled by Night celebrates the beauty found where past and present quietly meet. It is a reminder that even places long forgotten can glow with new life, and that nature often reveals its greatest wonders only to those willing to wait for nightfall.
